What is stored, and where
EasyBudget has no accounts and no database. Your budget, saved months (history) and logged expenses are kept in your browser's localStorage on this device, so they are there when you come back. We cannot see them. Another browser or device will not have them.
Share links
When you press “Share by link”, the budget is encoded inside the link after the # sign. That part of a URL is never sent to our server. Anyone you give the link to can read the budget, so share it only with people you trust.
AI features
Two features are optional and only run when you press their button: “Review my budget” sends item names, amounts, your currency and any goal you type; “Read my statement” sends the text you paste. They are processed by an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to produce the answer and are not stored by EasyBudget. Remove account numbers and names before pasting statements.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-friendly service, to count page views and see which pages are useful. It does not see anything you type into the calculators.
Clear everything
This removes your budget, history and expenses from this browser. It cannot be undone.
